My 2023 Health & Fitness Plans

Over the last couple of years, I’ve been making slow but significant self care changes. I have a history of trying out trending fad diets, and ultimately failing because- well fad diets don’t work as a long term solution- and because I get bored easily and don’t like following a set plan. I have some very small but impactful plans when it comes to health and fitness this year, but I wanted to share them with you to show you that you don’t need some great big diet plan, or expensive nutrition program to see changes.

HERE ARE MY 2023 HEALTH & FITNESs Plans:

  1. Continue to drink enough water every day.

  2. Either walk on the treadmill, or walk outside for at least 30 minutes a day, 4 days a week.

  3. Try a recipe from my new cookbooks 2-3 times a month.

  4. Learn to grow herbs and vegetables at home, and incorporate them into our meals (& eat more fruit and vegetables).

  5. Drink greens daily.

  6. Take vitamins daily.

  7. Write in my 5 Minute Journal and Well Journal daily.

  8. Meditate 2-3 times a week.

  9. Cut back on phone scrolling time, and read/listen to more books and podcasts.

  10. Play outdoor tennis with my family 2-3 times a week in the Summer and Fall.

  11. Go on a family hike 1-2 times a month.

  12. Do basic strength training 1-2 times a week.

  13. Cut down on household toxins, and try more sustainable products.

  14. Do one Apple Watch workout per week.

  15. Limit iced caps and make healthier iced coffee drinks at home.

That’s it! A lot of these points are habits that I’ve already started, so it will be easy to continue to mix them into my everyday life. This list doesn’t feel stressful for me to look at, and I have no doubt I can achieve it this year.
